The previous fire inspection was conducted by Fire Marshall Department on 11/20/2024. Note: Fire Marshall will conduct a fire inspection for the daycare within 2 weeks from 12/02/2025.
The center did not submit background checks for 2 visitors who are 17 and 21 years old. They are present and actively working with the operation during the inspection. Note: Both left the center after 10:30 AM during the inspection. The second director submitted both background checks at inspection.
1/The playground equipment for toddlers was rotted and there were some sharp edges on it posing hazard for outdoor activities. Note: The second director put up yellow tape so children would not use it until it fixed. 2/There was one nail on the fence sticked out posing hazard for outdoor activities. Note: The first director fixed it by hammer at inspection. 3/One exit fence door from the playground could not be opened by 2 teachers as required that the children must be able to safely exit the building within three minutes in case of emergency. Note: The second director could open it after a while and stated that she will fix the fence hinge of the exit door from the playground so it can be opened in case of emergency. 4/The 4 seats of the play equipment of seesaw were cracked/broken posing hazard for outdoor activities. There was a gate in the outdoor play area that was broken and could not be closed.
There was not enough surfacing around the play structures and under the swing areas.
There was a broken fence board in the outdoor play area.There were also a pile of nails along side the fence. In the play area a gate leading toward the front parking lot had a broken latch leaving the gate ajar and accessible to children. Note: The fence board was repaired, the pile of nails were removed and the gate was repaired and was able to close all the way. These repairs were made during the inspection.
There was no current inspection from the Health and Sanitation Department. The last inspection was on 3/8/2022.
Playground maintainance checklist for 4/2022 was not available for review upon request, during hours of operation.
The paint from sliding equipment in the young children playground was peeled off and accessible to children. Pictures taken.
