Cleaning supplies were accesible to children in a three year old classroom. The Director relocated the cleaning supplies to a place children cannot reach.
The operation allowed a 17-year old caregiver to supervise children in care at the operation without another fully qualified caregiver present at all times.
Based on interviews with a victim and the parent, the operation was found not to be in compliance with the standard evaluated. A staff member did not discipline a child appropriately.
In one classroom, there were 14 children with one caregiver; the specified age for the classroom was 2 years old.
Two children were left unsupervised in a bathroom that was in an unoccupied classroom.
