The three play yards in the infant room had an additional mattress in each one. This was corrected at the inspection when the mattresses were removed from each play yard by the director.
The fence gate locking mechanism was on the outside of the play area. It was not immediately accessible for the staff to unlock the gate. This was corrected at the inspection when the locking mechanism was removed, and a temporary one placed where the staff may open the gate immediately.
The diaper changing area specified was on the floor where an infant has access during play/crawling time.
There was no current fire inspection on file at the facility. The last annual fire inspection was conducted on 07/29/2024.
I observe several deteriorating logs used to maintain mulch in place that need to be replaced.
