Jumping Kangaroos Daycare LLC

During the inspection a 4yr old child was left in the office alone due to illness. This was corrected when the child was picked up by her father.

At time of inspection, a caregiver did not handwash a childs hands after a diaper change. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection.

At time of inspection, outdoor playground equipment was observed to be broken. At time of inspection, two infant crib sheets were observed to be torn.

At time of inspection, an infant caregiver was observed on their personal phone while caring for children.

Based on information gathered, it was determined that staff place children in time out in a restrictive device.

Based on video surveillance, it was observed that caregiver hit child with a plastic lego on his head. Note: Caregiver was terminated.

The center did not have authorization from parent to apply Tylenol Pain Relieving Cream on child. Center informed parent after cream was applied.

Director did not ensure the center is complying with minimum standards, when director applied Tylenol Pain Relieving Cream on a two year old child, and directions indicate not intended for children under 12 years of age.

Self-Report; Based on information gathered, it was determined that a caregiver grabbed a child inappropriately, while attempting to lift child up. Note: Caregiver was terminated.

Based on information gathered, a staff member gave a child half of a peanut butter sandwich knowing the child had a peanut allergy.
