Cleaning supplies were stored next to food and on tables where chidlren could access them. They were removed during the inspection.
At the time of the inspection, the operation had three expired emergency medications.
A caregiver was observed using a personal electronic device while supervising children. This was corrected at the inspection when the caregiver was instructed to put the device away.
It was determined a caregiver used inappropriate discipline with children in care by hitting two children on the arm and shoulder and grabbing a third child by the back of the neck.
It was determined that a caregiver kept food from children as a punishment.
A child ran out of the designated area of care and caregivers did not attempt to bring the child back to the designated area.
At the time of the inspection, inspectors were notified that a classroom previously used for capacity was no longer being used by the program.
Director changes were not reported to CCR in a timely manner.
