Love and Grace Childcare

I observed dead water bugs on the floor by the toilets in a restroom used by children. There was cob webs with spider eggs in the in the corner by the trash can in the Pre-K and School-age area. The director corrected the deficiency during this inspection when it was brought to their attention by removing and cleaning the pest.

The operation does not have a current fire inspection. The last fire inspection was conducted January 2025.

Two caregivers lacked current CPR training.

Documentation of emergency drills and checks was not available at the time of inspection.

Documentation of the current Fire Inspection was not available for review.

Two staff members did not have a signed affidavit on file during the inspection.

The director of the operatoin did not have 30hours of training availble for review.

Two caregivers did not have 24hours of annual training available during the inspection.

The fire drill for May was not conducted,

Children in care were playing video games in the schoolers classroom.

The playground area did not have at least six inches of loose fill installed for the climbing equipment

The operation did not have documentation of emergency drills available for review.

There was an active ant mound and a tree stump with protruding edges on the playground.

A health inspection was not completed at the time of the inspection.
