The outdoor play space is not being maintained. The following will need to be addressed: 1. There was overgrown grass and weeds covering various areas of the outdoor play space. This needs to be mowed to eliminate hazards that cannot be seen. 2. There was a large boat on a trailer in the outdoor play space that needs to be removed.
The operational policies wil need to be updated to include procedures for the " Promotion of indoor and outdoor physical activity."
One child's file lacked health statement documentation from the child's physician.
In the outdoor play area used by children, there were broken fence boards with petruding nails making the pool area accessible, unknown berry vines along the fence and a large trailer with hitch that were all accessible to children in care.
