The fire drill was not conducted in August 2025. This deficiency was rectified during the inspection when the site director carried out a fire drill with the children.
The site director is missing 12 hours and 15 minutes of the required annual training.
Two caregivers were missing pre-service in the following topics: Age-appropriate activities for children, Fostering children’s self-esteem and Supervision and safety practices in the care of children.
During the inspection, I observed children leaving the room without supervision. This issue was promptly addressed during the inspection when the program director intervened and provided alternative activities for the children.
Two employees and the site director did not have all required annual training hours.
The operation is permited for school aged children however; the operation is providing care for pre-k children.
