The director contacted me and stated that a fire inspection was not conducted.

Based on the information received from a DFPS investigation, the staff did not use good judgment by removing the top from the Scentsy warmer causing a child in care to get burned.

The caregiver has taken a training on playground safety and supervision. The director also had a meeting with the caregiver and other staff to ensure that caregivers do a count after exiting the playground and lining the children along the fence and putting a name to face while counting. Caregivers also page on their walkie talkies their final count when back inside of the classroom. The admin at the front desk has a count for each classroom and are able to verify.

The operation did not have the sanitation report to review during the inspection.

I observed wooden pillars with sharp edges accessible to children in care.
